      SUPERJAM !

The Sunflower Superjam takes place every year bringing together some of the worlds best musicians for the ultimate charity music event. Here at LayerZero we were thrilled to be asked to produce the DVDs covering the event, with all proceeds from the DVD sales going to the charity. Completing the video editing for this two disc DVD set was such good fun and inspiring to be involved in. To help get the message out there we produced this short video promo for use on YouTube, Vimeo and on on other websites. It gives a real flavour of the incredible atmosphere at the Royal Albert Hall that night. To find out more or buy a copy head to

      The Motivator

What a location! Shot over three days in Portugal this motivational piece brings together, land sea and sky and makes a fitness playground of a beautiful natural environment. Krishna is an established fitness instructor, his regime unites exercise, balance and concentration. His idea for the video is to show the rebirth or awakening that anybody can experience by refocussing their lives to embrace health and fitness. He aimed to show that there is more to it than just trapping yourself in a gym two hours a week. Instead there can be fulfilment in enjoying your environment and looking for new challenges. The video also displays his balanced physique and aims to inspire others to enjoy their journey to good health.

Why should I care about 4K Ultra HD?

There are many reasons why 4K should make you rethink your next TV purchase not all of them immediately obvious.

Photographers who routinely view their work on an HD TV are seeing but a fraction of the detail inherent in their pictures when they view them at 2160p. A 4K display reveals so much more nuance and detail – the difference can be astonishing. While 3D has proved to be a faddish diversion, 4K comes without caveats. Its higher resolution images are simply better.

The higher pixel density of a 4K panel also enable you get much closer without the grid-like structure of the image itself becoming visible –this means you can comfortably watch a much larger screen from the same seating position as your current Full HD panel. Currently all available 4K Ultra HD TVs are in excess of 50-inches.

Difference between Ultra HD and 4K

4K Ultra High Definition is actually a derivation of the 4K digital cinema standard. However while your local multiplex shows images in native 4096 x 2160 resolution, this new consumer format is 3840 X 2160.
